GUEST BOOK

I knew Vic and his best friend Bill Menucci in VN..in 1969. We all flew helicopters together. He was one hell-of-a guy. He from the Bronx..me from WY...but we did hit it off quite nicely. I did not know that he had passed away. His best friend in VN 'Wild' Bill Menucci recently passed on too. Two great pilots that I recall quite vividly and had a lot of respect for...and a lot of fun with. My condolences.. Marve Papka CW-4 US Army ret

I'm so sorry to hear about Vic -- I just found out from a friend who passed along the news. Vic and I were in flight school together. I have a lot of memories of those days -- what a character he was! My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

VIC WILL BE MISSED. HE WAS A MAN'S MAN. I WAS FORTUNATE TO WORK WITH VIC ON THE DAY HE RETIRED. HE FOUND TIME THEN AS ALWAYS TO GIVE ME A KIND WORD AND MAKE A LITTLE JOKE. I NEVER HEARD AN UNKIND WORD FROM VIC IN THE THIRTY YEARS THAT I KNEW HIM. I WILL SPEND MY LONG DAYS AND NIGHTS ON THE WATERFRONT AND I WILL ALWAYS SMILE WHEN I THINK OF MY FRIEND, VIC. REST NOW EL LOBO, I HEAR THE WHISTLE.

- GUY GOSS, SAVANNAH, GA

I will miss Vic and wish I had known him better. There was not a nicer person on the water front. I never new him to be anything but a gentleman. His wry wit was the sort of humor I enjoy. He was the sort of man that is in short supply in today's world.

- Holland Judkins, Savannah, GA

Deeply sorry for your loss, Vic will be greatly missed, by all who knew him. I had the pleasure of working with him for the last 30 years. What impressed me the most was Vic's genuine kindness. You and your family are in our prayers.
